It is ridiculous how much time I am wasting while I wait for the car to get here. I can't recall EVER being this obsessed with anything.
I blame it on the Internet (damn you Al Gore) there's just too much info.
And then I find you people who it turns out are in the same boat (pun intended).

Soon it will be over!

Based on the location images, it really doesnt look like it will be arriving on the 14th either, so most likely it will reach hueneme on the 15th. Not to mention, who knows what delays are expected at the VPC. As worst possible case, I suppose we will see our cars by the end of the month (originally expected 18-20 if everything went smoothly at VPC and ship docking).

Based on sailwx.info, my guess is the Carmen has another 18-24 hours to port. Customer ordered cars get processed first. Or so the rumor goes.
I would think people in California might even get their cars by the weekend or early next week.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I believe it made it as I was able to track it up to a couple of miles from port, then it feel off AISLive (better not have sunk). The Port of Hueneme schedule shows a Tues PM and Wed AM for the Carmen. Wallenius Wilhelmsen has not updated Carmen's status, but shows arrival today and departure tomorrow. My guess is our cars will be unloaded first thing in the morning.

I had the picture from aislive of the Carmen right there. It then disappeared off the screen. I assume this means it is docked and no longer warrants tracking. That's what they think.

I tried to post the picture but the technology eluded me.
I asked my wife to help, turns out she's getting tired of hearing about the new car. Go figure.

On to VPC.

And then on to me!

Gave the 1800 number a call today, and now they are saying my car is at the port waiting for a shipping vessel. Can anyone explain this? My car was on the carmen, which has already reached hueneme
