![]() I think DRLs are a great idea. I tend to have my lights on even when it's slightly overcast anyway - dark grey car, many dozy twonks etc.

Yep, xenons on as well. I spoke to the dealer who seemed to think that this was normal, seems odd to have a different bit of software for the E90 than the E92/93! Could someone with an E90 try turning their DRL on and see?

I think it's only standard on 6 cylinder models. But, as an E92 you do get Xenons as standard unlike us saloon people who had to pay about £400!!!

Some roads in Maryland require daytime headlight use. Have my DRL's on all the time.

Yes it's probably in the dash computer setup or its a dealers setup thing.

I thought the DRLs on the E90 were activated by just leaving the light switch position on dip. When you take the key out, to get out, the lights go out, including sidelights.

I have my DRL's on all the time. Safe and look cool.
I wish when lights set to auto, it would display on the dash what exactly was on e.g. DRL's, side lights, dipped headlights. |

I have the poor man's spec model
I just leave my lights on all the time. They switch on when I start the car and switch off once I open the drivers door when stopped. Would have liked Xenons but cost too much per month on my lease. I think all cars should have lights on during day. As i've found it does help the dozy drivers on the M-way to keep tabs on who is behind them - as it saves flashing them from a distance! Also useful when you want to go round a roundabout at full whack whilst the rear is sliding out - warning people that you're gonna hit them if they pull out ![]() ![]() |
