However, I think the middle men make a large chunk of cash off the deal as well as whatever Arqray making. If you think they are bad have you looked at Supersprint lately? I hate videos where they do nothing but rev the shit out the car the whole time and you never get to hear it cruising around. It's great if you just redline the motor everywhere you drive and rev it non stop at lights or something but, some of us might like to hear what it sounds like when you actually drive it. |

Guys don't forget shipping, customs and duties fees to get it in US. Its really a rip off anymore. Some boxes for exhausts and wheels could cost you anywhere from 600 to 800 dollars. No exaggerating on this.

The stainless steel price is pretty bad, but the titanium price isnt too shabby when you compare it with the "other" titanium exhaust available for near $6800. Overall, its still pretty expensive. I just cant fathom spending more than 3 grand for a catback, no matter what it's made out of. I guess the complete dual pipe set up is something of a rarity in cars with dual exhaust. Most dual set ups that i've see have a y-pipe somewhere near the middle. So maybe, in a way, 4200 in this case is justifiable.

sorry, it's a sponsored car i can't disclose. i don't think you'd be looking at much more than an eisenhaus exhaust system though and the quality should be better.

Maybe its a bit pretentious, but I'd never pay more then 2500 bucks for an exhaust system ever, regardless of materials.
Maybe I'm just spoiled from the prices of Evo mods, but still, its a bit much for bent tubes isnt it?

I thought that at first as well but, you have to remember this is basically like buying two exhausts for the Evo since it is a dual exhaust. That said I'm sure there is still a certain amount of "BMW" adjustment to the price.

there are a few exhausts on the market that are around this price range, quality wise and bang for the buck, i'd say the arqray is the best mix. it's imported as well so if you want something unique it's a nice alternative. there are other exhausts that are priced this high but quality wise - the welds, material, and fit and finish - just aren't up there.

Granted that it's a true dual exhaust. $2,500 is still wayy too much. For $1,000 on the Evo..you can complete the whole turboback. I can see $1,500 as being reasonable, that's how much it costs for the G's and Z's for a true dual catback. But $2,500 is just too rich for my blood. And I agree with you on the BMW thing, price marked up for sure, hehe.

You paid $350-400 for your HKS DP? I thought I got it bad when I paid for mine, brand new at $300. $150 for a UR hi flow cat. $350 for an Espelir catback exhaust.
