Do you want a G5

you'll be able to use the new ISO boost control as well.

My friend is selling his. It is already wired in the harness, along with NLS/2STEP, and the USB.

There is so much the ECU can adjust for. Your tuner was referring in that case to timing advance.

With E85 it is not only timing advance but also, you need to tune fueling as well. With COBB it is very simple, you change your fuel scalars and you're set.

And yes, it does give huge power gains vs running pump gas. It is also much cheaper than race gas.

Why did you let it go? it gives a lot more flexibility than your current tune. Just curious

when i flashed the car and send logs to cobb they told me i should change it to their sport 91 octane special map and i was still getting bad logs so i decided to sell it and get a custom tune, but now i think it was the car and not the tune, i had new fuel injectors put in by bmw, spark plugs replaced, chemical treatment and the car is running much better now. I still have some hicups when i get on it, but i think the tuner will figure it out once i drop it off to get it retuned for FMIC and downpipes, well once i install them.

Hardware definitely makes a lot of difference!

Get COBB used, install at least DCIs+intercooler, put it 50% ethanol, PTF tune and I promise you will be surprised.
+ the custom tune will account for your hardware variances (WG stiffness, among many others...)

For somebody that just wants to run 50/50 93/e85... what is the difference between the flexfuel kit and the 50/50 aggressive mapping? I don't feel like I really need the kit...
