The front plate definitely won't go back on.

How about someone organize the next Yorkdale parking lot moonlight meet and I'll bring it out for everybody to see. Hopefully by then I'll have the iForged wheels, M-wheel and knob, etc., installed.

Can't go to the Sept 9 Bimmer Cruise, it's my 5 yr old daughter's birthday party.

None of my 2 BMW's have front plates and we have never been stopped for that reason. The 5 has been around for a-year-and-a-half and the 3 has been around since late June. My wife was once caught speeding in the 5 and the cop just let her go after giving her a warning.

I guess when the cops see you from the front they just assume you are from out-of-province, from somewhere like Quebec that doesn't require front plates.

I suppose if you get stop for doing something stupid then you can be nailed for everything. Cops in the GTA have bigger issues to deal with so checking for the presence of front plates may not be a piority.

Unfortunately they don't ride in this car. My younger daughter weights only 32 pounds so she requires a full car seat, and there is no tether strap anchor in the convertible to install it. (Tether straps are mandatory for full child car seats in Ontario.) My older daughter is heavy enough to be in a booster. I drove her in it once but the open top motoring lasted only 3 minutes before she demanded to have the top up. As such, they only ride in the 5 or the mini van these days!
