They Lied
I called BlitzSafe today after they had told me two weeks ago that the XM Radio direct interface to ther E90 would be available now.
Today they said they will have an aux interface available soon, but there are "no plans at this time" for a direct (i.e. integrated with iDrive) XM Radio interface.

Uggh... I hate when I'm right. Why bother with the AUX input ? We already have devices that do that. Heck, you can go get a portable unit and plug it into the aux port.

Wow, do these guys at BlitzSafe have any idea what they're talking about? As gum5h03 said, what's with the aux interface? I do that now with my unit, what would their interface offer that I don't already have? I guess we'll find out in another 6 months...

My guess is that they had planned a MOST interface for XM Radio in newer BMWs but have found it much more difficult than they expected.
In any case, they are certainly not handling their communication with customers well - different answers depending on whom you talk to. Very disappointng. We may have to wait until XM and Sirius merge (if ever) to get XM channels in our cars.

I'm going to try and contact Audiovox to see if they have one upcoming. I had read on some car audio forums that Audiovox was working on an XM direct connection to the new MOST bus systems.

Just called Audiovox and the guy told me that they are working on a MOST adapter but he's unsure of what vehicles will actually be compatible. The adapter should be out late summer/early fall.
