I know what you mean about the wheel set up - I really would like to go to wheels with more offset (purely from a cosmetic perspective), but I don't know what the practical limit is.

They are OSS angel eyes. They remain the single best appearance mod I've ever done. Pictures just don't capture how good they look!

Ohlins Settings
Did you say anywhere in the thread what settings the Ohlins are on? From reading other threads there seems to be about 30 settings from, as I understand it, 0 (all the way clockwise) to about 30 or so (all the way counter clockwise). I may have got it backwards.

Ohlins says in their literature that they come from the factory set at 7 clicks, and in their installation brochure they recommend 10 clicks for the e90. I ran 15 clicks at the track and probably could have gone a bit more, but was happy with them at that setting.

I run Ohlins DFV on my E91, with standard 343lb/in front springs and 700lb/in rear springs, rear H&R 20mm anti-roll bar, front H&R 27mm anti-roll bar and all M3 replacement bushes and arms.
After a lot of tweeking of the damping (adjusting front and/or rear) for around a month until I was happy with the compromise of handling/comfort and balance, my final settings are 11 clicks from full hard on the front and 8 clicks from full hard on the back. The car is transformed from the standard M-sport suspension and soft bushes, the Ohlins really is superb. It also has an Evolve re-map as I'm lucky enough to live 30km away from them in the UK. To the OP, your car looks superb, and congrats with the Ohlins choice. ![]() |

So far, yes, and I'm pretty happy. I'm trying to avoid tinkering unless it's absolutely necessary - although I think I might raise the ride height slightly in the rear.

I got the Evolve tune through VS Motorsports in Chicago. The switch does not work on U.S. DDE's, so yes, it has to be removed and shipped to VS.

Op
Next mod you need is to upgrade the brakes BMW brakes even on M3 gets horrible brake fade Cooling kit and new pads the most economical way to deal with it but bbk better but expensive. |

I agree, brakes are actually first on my list. Probably will do just stainless lines and upgraded pads, BBK is overkill for me.
