Wolf I wrote this from my SAMSUNG III just use to flatheads and compress the TAB from the top and bottom and it will come out and then clip ALL 4 prongs and reinstall mind you, you have to PULL OUT the white female coupling to the male part of the switch and then clip into socket and do test trial before inserting it to see if it lights up ok. Yes, turn ignition one

Im guessing you bought your car used, and the prev owner already did this mod.
Or he may have installed the actual Euro switch that has the emblem on the button.

Nope, Never done this mod before and neither did the previous owner. He was NOT a car diy guy...

I would say they just messed up over in Germany on the assembly line and gave you the Euro button instead of the USA one.

I leav mines on constantly People in Puerto Rico like to tailgate a lot so this keeps them away from me specifically at night and when raining!!

I just did this on my car it's an 11 sport. I just took everything apart, cut off the plastic tabs and put it back... Everything needed was already in place. The only thing missing is a button with a symbol on it, but it'll just be my secret, lol

Joe glad to c u did. Just to falk w people at red lights when they get to close to u at night turn them on since they're brighter than the stop lights people will back out of u cause its to bright for them I do this all the time

Did this mod and served me well here in SoCal...had someone on my ass in the carpool lane for no good reason...and this backed them off....I know not the intent of a rear fog light but nonetheless
