I am not sure who supplies BMW at the momemnt but I do know at one point in the past Textar used to supply BMW. I think Pagid are OE but I dont think they supply BMW

However I think Pagid/Textar and another brand are all part of TMD friction group which supply to major brands

I forgot to mention earlier that I ordered mine from car parts4less - same as ECP but worked out slightly cheaper

No.

The original suppliers of the brake discs and pads were Jurid by Honeywell. I believe this may have changed to Zimmermann at some point.

0w30 Castrol Edge is fine for your car and is LL04 approved.
