Just over 60 actually, it cost more last year!

This is the first time my insurance has ever gone down! Give it a few years and they'll stop me driving...

Maybe try adding your mum or dad, or someone in your family who has a fantastic driving record as a named driver?

I'm with Admiral, nearly 3 years licence, 3 years named driver (+booster nonsense) on a 335i @ £1200, which is steep but I was stuck with admiral due to having named driver bonus and not real no claims . Also I had a non fault accident which adds ~£250 to the quote!

You are definitely paying too much.
She's 23 and has 2/3 year NCD.

Looks as though my price is pretty steep compared to the rest of you guys. I will try adding a name driver, might even be cheaper getting something like a C1 for her, cheap tax, insurance etc.

Ok just removed her and added a family member with great driving record and its dropped to £600-700. Looks like we might have to consider taking her off, its almost £1000 with her on it

As you can see no 1 insurance company is always the cheapest

LV were great until i moved house then the shot up. But eSure and couple of others were much cheaper.

Same with swapping cars, they all have different price points based on so many different things.

Some of these quotes might seem excessive, however were you live might have something to do with your insurance quote.

Do Aviva use BMW as one of their 'Approved Repairers' then?

Usually some BMW garages are available as approved, but you can choose whoever you like.

Just ditched Sainsburys for Privilage who were a £100 cheaper.

£310 fully comp £550 excess, Protected NCD, legal cover.

And I can use BMW approved repairers.

Not the cheapest but the best compromise - I hope!
