So I do believe with FBO and RBs, an XI can make at least 400awhp.

Someday I will find out with at least a pair of 16Ts
They are 15T's

Definitely not necessary. I made right at 400 awhp with just dci, e85, and jb4...

Not bad at all. But before I get to turbo upgrade (16T), I will like to see what FBO will give me with pump E85.

Did you ever take your car to the drag strip? If so what mph were you trapping?

I know that dynapacks usually read higher but when looking at dyno's don't we all agree the delta is more important? Here's a vide some guy did of his 135 he had tuned by them. If you skim through to the end when he shows the graph the baseline is there

I did. Mykal did a lot too, he previously held the record for largest xi numbers...

Some have done better, but here's a link to my post from the last time at the track, car was running strong but it'll always be heavy as hell. Well worth the feeling of an immediate 18psi hook from a dead stop

My car dynoed 445whp and 500wtq on that dyno after Bren made an e50 cobb pro tune for me. Ar dp's, injen intake, BMW perf exhaust. Everything else stock. Didn't do a baseline but we did an 8.9 60-130 right after the car came off the dyno hot.

Good numbers, especially if they were repeatable on another dyno. Even more especially if they were done on an xi given those mods- then this particular dyno would be even more questionable

Good number, good numbers, so if you throw in an intercooler to finish the main FBOs you could be seating round 450awhp, assuming you're xi.

I am also going to take it even further by saying FBO + 16Ts + E85 = +500awhp.

lol what difference does that make? A dyno, any dyno really, is a tuning tool; period. Nothing more, nothing less. As mentioned, the only thing that matters is the delta. Comparing numbers from two different dynos is apples and oranges. If you want true proof of power, take it to a track where you can at least keep most of the *important* variables consistent...

With a .28 shot and vargas stage 2, you should put down around 500 or maybe a little more and about 550ftlbs on a standard dyno and not a ridiculously favorable one.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough intially- my remark was intended to bring two items to attention: that this dyno reads higher and therefore shouldn't be applied comparatively, and that I believe the quoted numbers to be for a RWD car instead of an AWD car. An 8.9 60-130 confirms this suspicion. I very well may be wrong, I had assumed that had this car been AWD there would have been attention called to these numbers prior to this thread (which also could have happened and I just missed it, or maybe just wrong altogether- happens when speculating sometimes) and also that I found it odd that another xi at this whp/wtq level does 60-130 in 10.18- that's what I'd consider significant/suspicious variance.

A dyno is most effectively used to measure delta and varying dynos, conditions and applications produce variable results. I hope by now we all do realize this. That is why in another recently made recent thread I somewhat directly discredit dynos, especially because they are usually posted without getting a baseline.

We xi's see more drivetrain loss than you RWD guys, making 400awhp a bit more of an effort in an xi than an i. That and the added weight makes for a very exhilarating 1-2 gear, sufficiently fast 3rd and disappointing 4th gear when doing quarter miles.

You're signature makes me smile lol I love seeing people go big. Your car must be a blast.

I'd be dissapointed if RBs just got me to 400WHP and not 475-500aWHP.
