have you guys read a tire review done by roadandtrack very recently:

http://www.caranddriver.com/article....ticle_id=10252

it's a good read. not about RFs.

question... since i haven't seen the trunk of the e90... is the trunk a real deep trunk since it's not made? with a sparetire well?

or is there really a well there, just no tire in there?

that'd be cool, I'd drop a tire in there after 'dropping' the seemingly forced dependence on RFs.

Why not just purchase a spare runflat tire and stick it in your trunk. When you get a flat, just go to a nearby repair shop and have them mount it for you.

I suggested that on a bimmerfest since a similar thread is going on over there. But, instead of the trunk, just leave it at home. You're almost always within 100 miles of your house. You can drive home, pick it up, and go to the tire shop. And if you're traveling away from home, put it your trunk.

17mm deep socket $10
12" socket turning thing $24.95
torque wrench $22.95
jack from Jimmy(which doesn't go on the road anymore) with some treated wood as buffer - free

The whole thing is just a PITA.
