So, is everyone still pleased with the tranny flash? Does it work as expected on both the N54 and N55? Anyone have any issues?

Only for a few days? May I ask why you flashed back to stock so quickly?

S was too aggressive. M was okay but how often do I really use that? I have a manual transmission sports car for when I feel like shifting gears. I would like to be able to code M mode to act like the Alpina and leave the rest alone. I feel like the Alpina trans flash leaves you with a car that is too extreme all the time. Too lazy and economical on the one hand or overly aggressive on the other. That's just me, many people seem happy with it. |

Hey Steve, any plans to do an Alpina Flash that affords the same drivability of the flash in D Mode in sport mode only, and then leaving D Mode stock? Would that be possible?

I am also debating to go back to stock. Have alpina + jb4 and I really hate being in 6th gear going up a hill at 40 mph..
Anyone else have alpina + jb4 and have any comments on how they like it? |

I've had the b4 flash for about 2 months now and it's totally worth it. DS mode is fantastic, even in M mode it shifts faster. No issues at all noted.

What I want to know is if this flash adds any performance, if I remember correctly, I read it does not. Yes it's cool I know, but i'm more interested in performance. Can anyone "prove" any findings? Track times before and after the flash?

You're not going to "gain" HP or power, but the expeditious shifting definitely speeds things along. Just do it- you have nothing to lose except for the jerky laggy occasional slush box issues.

And whatever warranty you have left on parts related to the drivetrain...?

Had mine flashed yesterday, wow! Excellent upgrade, and I really like the way D mode feels now. Very pleased with the results.
