A good friend of mine lost her relative through a car accident as well, and I watched her through the hard times. The lost soul died from reckless driving, but when it comes to a death of someone related to you, none of that shit matters. Best thing you and all of the victim's relatives and friends can do now are to learn the important lesson from his sacrifice second hand, see for yourselves how devastating this is to everyone involved, and never let this type of stuff happen to you all.
I agree with your comment about that yield sign, it is very poorly planned and placed, Its almost as if people think the yield sign is for the other lane and just go right through it, if you happen to drive passed that today I find it very strange....they had red lines in the road showing the path he took before he struck the pole and they are showing he was in the middle lane and then bared off to the right and hit it, which I find strange because from what I am aware of this is not the path the car took, unless he was so out of control that he did reach the middle lane, but if that is true I dont know how the hell no one else was involved because of the highly congested area almost all day long. And if another car was to be involved (this is just speculation) I feel they both would have lived and it just would have been a decently bad accident..but whats over is over, he is in a better place now. This world is becoming a disgusting place to live, everyday I turn on the news and its story after story of killings or deaths its just sickening. This really is eye opening and now every time I even consider doing something I shouldnt be doing behind the wheel I will think of what the consequences may be, after all, every time we get in our cars we are in a incredibly powerful death machine and it sucks to think of it that way but in reality thats exactly what it is. Thank you all who had something nice to say about this tragic accident.

Remember - the wake is for family and friends to go through the grief and mourning process and start healing. You should go to help in your own healing.
