Click the link again, please. The tweeters and adjustable crossover are included.

No amp required. And if you read again what I posted then you should notice that I listed exactly what you need to install that component set PnP and nothing else.

Ok, but how is this possible without additional amplifier, I didn't know this; so yes this is also possible option for me.

As I understand this I need to do in this way:

1. buy Covers for window frame (left+right)
BMW part Nr. 51 33 7 171 201, 51 33 7 171 202 (http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E9...er_front_door/)

2. buy this set of speakers: diamond M341 (speakers+tweeters+crossover)

3. remove front grill from M3 speaker, mount it into doors

4. connect everything in this way:

I will cut original connector at end of wire harness (from original BMW speaker) which I will put to crossover, then I need additional wire from crossover to speaker (midrange), which one you recommend? For tweeters I think it's already included in this SET
http://i.seimg.net/images/95876/big/m341.jpg

5. at crossover change jumper position to -2dB (I hope there is space for this big crossover in doors ?)
http://i.seimg.net/images/79008/big/m341.jpg

6. will everything fits to original holes of midrange speakers and OEM tweeters pods ?

Will these speakers fit in the 135i doors?

Get the OEM tweeter pods, mount adapters and OEM connector, set the DA crossovers to -2dB tweeter level and you will be fine.

If your looking for something cheap and simple I would go with the rockford fosgates I linked to on the 1st page. They will fit without mounting rings, or tweeter pods.

Hi, where? I just see your links for:

Alpine SPS-410
Vibe Slick 40 V2 speakers

but both need " mounting rings"?

Thank you @bmw325i

This is good price for COAX, which are cheap and not PRO equipment, something perfect for me to change damaged front right speaker and little improve sound for same money as I can buy new original front door Philips speaker.

How do you know that it's fit to BMW e90, has someone already installed this in e90 ?

thanks

The depth does't seem like its an issue, and it seems like it should match up with the mounting holes.

Ohh, I thought that was verified in a car already... I can not afford to wait for delivery and then open everything in door and then I notice that it's not working or not fitting

Hmm I also noticed that "Rockford Fosgate P142" has only RMS handling 30W (peaks 60W), where CO100 or QM100 have RMS 60W and peaks 100W for almost same price...

Those other speakers are probably less efficient. There isn't a lot of power to begin with in the base system so I would look for something that is efficient and not even look at power handling.

But how do you know which one is much efficient, I don't have any additional information about CO100 BMW or QM100, but both are specially designed for E90 BMW...

You look at the sensitivity. For example the Rockford Fosgate's are 86.5 db's 1 watt/1 meter. Some companies also measure using 2.83v/1 meter.

I'm sure both of those speakers will work fine as long as they are 4 ohm.

If you can find a pair, the rear door speakers from the individual audio system are also pnp.

Just giving you options. Really I would just go with something cheap for this purpose, you aren't going to make much of an improvement just from changing the speakers on the base system, regardless of what you choose.
