Much easier, just call the credit card company and dispute the charges

WOW! is V2 turning vishnu from one of the most popular mods to the least popular coz of customer service, lack of communication, or lack of integrity?

An update would be golden, even if it's to simply tell us that there was a snag and it will be a few weeks more.

Shiv already mentioned that they were going to get caught up on shipping out PROcede v1.47 harnesses to all those ppl who recently ordered v1.47 (and v2.0); then, he said they would begin shipping out the first batch of v2.0 upgrade harnesses this week. My guess is they'll ship them out tomorrow or Thursday. There's no need to talk b.s. at this point...good things come to those who wait.

LOL

People are just so impatient.
It's a me, me, me and now, now, now world.

Vishnu did get delayed one week in the shipping/release, Shiv posted this a week or two ago, and gator stated they will begin shipping later this week.

Get a grip people.
Don't want to wait, don't order it.

Great, finally someone who knows something! So we'll get them next week?

Edit: Its just a friend of mine who I suggested to buy Procede V2 and he was afraid that the shipping would take some time, but I assured him it doesn't matter that his order number is way beyond 7000 because the harness is just a bunch of wires and wires are not scarce products that someone could sell out.

First you order, then you pay, then you are supposed to have your products shipped by sept 10th...and now 8 days later...nothing. I just don't get it!
Then ask for a refund and you won't have to whine or worry about delivery times.
As they say, s**t happens!
They were delayed a week or so due to unexpected reasons.
You are lucky if everything in your life/world is always on time and there's never a delay or set back.

Seriously, cancel the order, stfu, or just wait. Vishnu announced ahead of time that there will be delays. The demand for V2 was more then expected so delays will be longer.

Also, would you rather recieve a half assed software and complain even more about it or get something that is complete and done well.

On the other hand there are things in the world that money doesn't compensate for. Seeing how much people spend in their cars and mods in their quest for performance, for someone wealthy enough to own BMW 335i and getting a refund of $150 instead of the great performance gain might not be the happiest moment in the enthusiast's life...

Do you know it for a fact that the demand was more than expected? What was the expected demand?
Btw. I would not recommend canceling the order. If I were you, I would wait.

The point here is not to cancel the order, but for those continually complaining about the week or so delay to STOP, or cancel their order and then not worry about it at all.

I think the forum is the place to share your feelings with your social group and fellows. Let's accept all the feelings, including sharing the disappointments. It is only human and may ease the pain. I am just afraid that other people suggesting canceling get the poor souls go and make the mistake and then they'll become even more unhappy at the end.

It might not be a week only. Some of them might be just hopeless without knowing if that is a week or more. People without knowing might be afraid that they need to wait for months. It is like if you were waiting for a diagnosis of a cancer. The waiting is the hard part.

Well, I don't support any extreme standpoint and in my point of view it is not an option to don't upgrade to V2. Especially in my case I will get in troubles, I promised to do the PROcede V2 wireless remote access to a couple of members here ( not for the money I will get ) and it seems I will not be able to deliver in time to due to V2 delays and related dependencies I have. I am a forum sponsor now only because of this little project.

I am a very satisfied PROcede customer and supporter.

However:

- Is it that complicated to activate a link for ordering V2 at the announced time ?
- Is it that hard to expect that at least 2/3 of all customers will upgrade to V2 ?
- Is it impossible to know on Friday that I will have limited ressources next week knowing an employee will be on vacation ?
- Is it impossible to know on Friday that I will not have the software ready on Monday ?

... no, it isn't !

I like Vishnu as a company as well and I am very exited about their PROcede product. However, there seems to be some potential to improve on Vishnu's side as well. One basic rule is to satisfy customers, even in not so easy times. Proper communication is one of the most important things in business.

My 2 cents.

Eugen, I was just thinking how much I like my TAG Heuer Carrera limited edition watch. And this time it was not about the sports car heritage it carries, but it had more to do with the Swiss accuracy that is highly appreciated up here as well

This, minus the part about promising to do a wireless remote access solution:
