I just use my glove and arm to remove the most of the snow.

On my other car I use an old army blanket. I open both front doors and drape the blanket across the roof and going down over the windshield. Close the doors with the blanket inside the doors. When I would get up in the middle of the night to go to a fire call I'd just pull the blanket off and everything was clean.

And goes against the owner's manual (potentially harmful for the car) and the environment.
