yea i was looking at this too but wasn't happy at all what they were offering part ex so didnt do a deal. Plus Ideally I wanted an auto too. Other than that a great car/spec, probably my second favourite colour combo

The trade-in was likely book-price as they'd have no margins left in the car given it's hugely reduced price - don't forget it had dropped £5k from when I looked at it - if you'd have called in November you'd have got what 'appeared' to be a better trade-in deal but in reality they're just shifting their profit around within the deal.

i was initially going to trade my e92 325i in with them, the px price wasnt good, i managed to sell it to a local garage for £500 more, that was still £1000 short of what i thought was a reasonable price, but I knew the new car was exactly what i wanted and at a good price anyway and didnt want to miss it.

Its taken me years to accept the money you loose on cars, I used to always buy a car and make money on it (in the old days), now I just view it as the cost of enjoying something, same as the cost of going on holiday or eating out or what we spend on beer and wine
