So i received my ls400w and used it to test record of some trips and the quality is pretty good. it came with a long usb cable and a really long car power cable. the included mount is solid for windshield.

One biggest complaint i have for DOD dashcams is the lack of mounting accessories. The stock mount is more than sufficient for windshield, but I want to mount my cam elsewhere. I want to capture not only the road, but also the driver cabin (to show my speed and etc..)

There is actually a 3M adhesive mount for the LS series. However, that mount may not be compatible with DOD LS400W.

Thanks for the response Jeff. I certainly hope that DOD would release more mounts for the LS400W model.

as for the camera quality, i am very happy with it. For the price, I would recommend it

I'll ask the manager as well as the manufacturer if there is a 3M tape mount suitable for the LS400W. Will PM you when I get hold of more information.

Thank you for listening to the consumers. That's what differentiate a successful company from an unsuccessful. Having different mount options creates more uses for the camera...which will ultimately increase sales of camera.
