aawwww - nice.

well, i can tell you that the RT Challenger is slow.

ok, let me rephrase that, it's the slowest car i've owned since 2004 AND it's slower stock for stock than an SS and a 5.0.

my STi, SRT8300C, 335i and both SRT4's i had were faster.

some people buy "muscle cars" for speed and brute force, but some others buy it for other reasons.

the RT is the PERFECT muscle cruiser: it's big enough to where you don't feel clausterphobic, the backseats can accomodate actual adults and the low end torque makes the thing fun to drive daily, or during traffic situations.

the seats are pretty awesome - very comfortable. but the RT seats are a bit soft and don't promote "performance" as the boulstered and slightly stiffer SRT seats.

paddle shifters are freaking awesome.

Sport Button feature is great too - transmission holds the gears a little longer when you're daily driving. example: if you're driving normal and your car shifts into second and 3rd gear @ 2200rpms, it will hold the rpm longer and shift gears @ 3000rpms.

it makes more torque from 2000-4000rpms than the SS and 5.0, which is where most people daily drive their cars anyways, but you can really feel how underpowered the 5.7 HEMI is up over 4500rpms.

in a straight up drag race, it will beat an automatic SS, but will get beat by a 6-speed SS (there is about a 30hp difference between the auto L99 engine and the SS LS3 engine).

it will get it's face crushed by a 5.0 - and that is the truth because 5.0's are freakishly fast. like freaking C6 Vette fast.

in the looks department, the Challenger is the sexiest muscle car on the road, by far.

the hood, the quarter panels and the big ass end. stock trunk spoiler is great too.

if you get a 392, don't worry about the performance - it's torquey from the time you leave the light all the way to 175mph...

His Lebanese successor, Karim Habib, is hardly doing a much better job. While post-Bangle cars are not quite as ugly as, say, the E60 5-series or E83 X3, they are still a far cry from BMW's glory days. Sadly, there will likely never be a BMW as beautiful and elegant as the E31 8-series or E39 5-series. And that is because someone at BMW got the crazy idea that European cars should be designed by non-Europeans. You wouldn't hire a Russian to design the Chevy Camaro or a Swede to pen the next gen Nissan GTR. Likewise, you shouldn't hire an American or an arab to design a BMW. You might as well ask a Nigerian to forge a Samurai sword.

If you're going to hire a foreigner, hire somebody from another European country, preferably one that has a strong tradition of automotive design: an Italian, a Brit, heck even a Frenchman if you're really short of candidates. Non-Europeans simply do not get European design.
My E60 was sexy as hell. It also helped that it was mated with a tuned N54.

As for the E39 which I agree, one of the best BMW designs: as "i dunno" said above, it was designed by a Japanese person: Joji Nagashima

Also take note, BMW's German designer Chris Weil designed the 5 Series GT and 3 Series GT while their Iranian designer Nader Faghihzadeh did the 6 series and 6GC... have fun with that one.
So where is Ti335 witty retort to this bit of fact? Frankly Ti I took your original ramblings, ones after the first post as borderline racism and very little fact.

My original post was a bit of a joke and meant to be tongue in cheek...But I guess I shouldn't forget that most people these days have skins as thick as that of an overripe tomato and get offended by virtually everything.

Also, like a typical American, you seem to be confused by the word "racism". See, the operative part in that word is "race". Not to be confused with ethnicity or country of origin. Bangle and Habib happen to be of the same race as the Germans. Just FYI.

You're not going to make any friends around here talking like this. There are 330,000,000 of us and you're painting with very broad brush strokes.

i'm all about fun and games, but when you mix up facts, it sounds more like stupidity than satire.

This is the internet, in case you haven't figured that out yet. So your attempt at being tongue in cheek and typing in a sarcastic sense is difficult to read.

However, your lame attempt at trolling is noted...

There are a lot of stupid people, and a lot of trolls, on the internet. Your joke made you sound like one of them, which was perhaps your intent, but you shouldn't get offended that people took you at face value - instead, try to me more clear that it was a joke. Include smilies at proper locations, or just explain your joke at the bottom of your post. Or just don't post stupid stuff even in jest.

A customer of mine sent me that in jest yesterday. Thankfully, I only drive the BMWs part time.

Well, you certainly don't have to worry about being called a jerk with that American land boat of yours (proudly made from mostly Mexican and Chinese parts )

First of all, your car does not have a "frame". It's not the 1950's anymore...even the 'Muricans make cars with unibody construction these days. Second, prove to me that any of the above is true and I will concede that your retro rust bucket is not an absolute POS.
