The fact is 20" kill ride comfort. Some won't agree, but they only ride their car, know only their 20"s and their ass is possibly fat enuff to compensate the harshness. Another issues - harder on suspension, what lowers driveability (braking, cornering), more sensitive to wheel damage, the whole chassi suffers from impacts, some chicks maybe like it, but U can be called ricer or ghetto, what is not the best thing to happen in a bimmer, etc.

Anyway - if U're performance oriented, go 18", max. 19". But if U would be, this question wouldn't even come up your mind.

And if U are more into looks, buy 20"s. (One thing I dont understand anyway is why some looks oriented drivers buy a 335i, but I'm just too stupid, maybe...)
The 335 is a nice fast car. Its not a super fast car. Its a luxury sports car. I had 19s and now I have 20s. You would not be able to tell the difference performance wise. As far as looks its not even close. The 335 flows so much better with 20s.\In another year this wont even be a debate. Most people will be buying 20s. Put a 335 side by side with 19s and 20s with the same wheels and you can not say the 19s look better.

LOL, if U're adressing me concretely, I cannot say I care. I am a performance freak, so 18"s for me. I dont need a show car, looks like my dick is big enough and I get enough girls even with smaller wheels. I want the car to perform, to handle, to brake - all of this as much as it gets. In case of emergency maybe a few % better handling can save my life. The 20" wheels won't

I have 19 inch wheels on now and 235/35/19 size tires in front and 265/30/19 rear. Surely I will need to get thinner tires if I were to get 20s to balance out the diameter. But you are correct, it would be 30 in front and 25 in rear.

In all honesty, the wheel arches on the E92 make it aesthetically pleasing to run on 20s. But the practical reasons of rubbing and tyre availability issue (over here there are no stocks on even 19" PS2 !!!), 19" appears to be a safer - not necessarily a better - choice.

To each his own. If you want it, go for it.
