not exactly -- the people in front are worried that the car tailgating them is going to fk up their car!

If somebody held a fist behind your head.. not hitting it, but not that far away (say, 6 inches away), wouldnt that bother you? Does that not get into your personal space?

so in conclusion, we agree that tailgaters are annoying and dangerous, but since the people in front have no control over what the driver behind them is doing, they should not worry about it and just concentrate on their own car.

either youre trolling, or you really need a refresher driving class.

yes it gets into my personal space, but it wouldnt bother me because i'd tune out the danger.

an asteroid falling from space could squash me like a bug, there are hundreds of them flying by earth all the time. but i dont let it bother me.

it's like that guy "chiggy" who comes into my personal space and flames me for asking these questions. he invaded my personal space, so i put him on my ignore list.

problem solved.

no, i just want to know if i'm the only one who thinks this way.
never had driving class either. learned to drive by avoiding the chickens and potholes in a third world country.

+1, it's obvious that the OP has never been an accident before. There is pain and sometime trauma involved in a tailgating accident. My friend was tail gated in his S2000 by the big ass Lexus SUV, and eventually got hit. Sure insurance covered it, but it took almost a year of therapy to ridicule him of physical and psychological pain.

You'll change your tune if you ever get rear-ended by a tailgater. I wouldn't want to wish it on anybody, but people like you sometimes need to get hit over the head with a 2x4 before you get it.

Then I think he should have gotten a better, more polite, therapist.

If someone hits me from the back, that's their fault, i hope they have insurance.
I'm sure people never tailgate during winter in Canada, right?
I read that tailgating sometimes causes the tailgatee (the car in front) to crash. How can that be? I mean, if you can't take the heat get out the kitchen!
I hope you really do ride the bus
