Wow thanks guys for all the input, even though SG is a nice colour it would look better with a black interior than beige
The dealer has agreed to free tinting (as car already had nearlly all the options) and awaiting word back on free servicing
They are keeping the trade in price for our current BMW which is kind of a bonus.
Unfortunatley the BWM Dealer is Western Australia has a monopoly as there are no other dealers in our state
At least now will be getting a 08 E92........anyone know if there are any changes from the 07??

Regards
Rod

at least for the US market there is no major change.

make sure you tell them to print an "Vehicle Inquiry Report" and triple check this time!

wrong options happen quite often. when i orderd my car the dealer put in automatic even though i wanted manual. good thing i caught it in time! another common one is ordering "crimson red" instead of "barbera red" because they are both red...

GL! Meanwhile enjoy mine!

Went to the dealer on the weekend and was our "supposed car" and yes there is a SG one on the floor same spec as ours.
Feel a little better that they didnt sell ours on us........
Well it will be one of the few Demo's with soooo many options

It was 100% dealer error and not BMW error. The factory doesn't make mistakes on things like color - because it is all automated basically associated to the way the dealership specs it on their computer.

Of course I have seen factory flukes before. I have a customer (who happens to be an E90 Poster) that recieved a 335i sedan without Logic 7 which is a standard option. That was weird =)
