I get all my mechanical work including remap's done by Andy & Alex at Storm Developments in Aldermaston. I've known the boys for years now and they have worked on all my cars. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I get all my bodywork done by Fraiser at Headley bodyshop. He's a top bloke and always sorts me out with a good price for a quality finish. Again I can't recommend him highly enough.

Drop me a PM with some contact info mate, be good to meet up.

Mods Done:
Evolve remap (previous owner)
Combox upgrade (Me)
Carbon dipped interior (me)
M3 suspension (previous owner)
Eibach spings & Koni shocks (previous owner)
19" 313 Alloys & spacers (previous owner)

Mods to be done:
VRSF decat dp's (waiting in garage)
Yellow Stuff pads & new discs
Forge DV's
Forge or VRSF charge pipe
Silicon Vacuum pipes
Uprated FMIC
Rear window tints

I've been up to Storm Developments many years ago with my old G60 so know where they are maybe we can get a discount on our downpipes if we do them at the same time. Also I used to know some of the old guys that worked at Headley but not used them for a long, long time. However Nick at DMC recommends Fraiser very highly also and I need a deep scratch blending in so will be going to see him very soon.

I'll drop you a PM shortly with contact details

Years ago my dad told me that big girls were always more fun & willing, so I took his advice to heart when it came to cars!

Garage List
Nice car OP, but after a B7 everything must be an anti-climax...

Thanks mate! You'd think the B7 would be the holy grail and to be honest that's exactly how I thought until I bought and owned one. That exact spec (colour and options) were my dream car and I was lucky enough to be in a position to buy it, so I did.

Now before I put this next bit don't get me wrong, it's probably the best car I've ever owned but it was considerably flawed.

First off its slow. Yep you read that right, slow! At nearly 2 tonnes and with no where near the supposed 414bhp they state on the stats, it struggled. I'm sure in comparison to a lot of cars it's quick but compared to the stage 2+ K1 it was slow.

Second, the noise. The V8 sounds emmence but they muffle it so much you need to buy an exhaust. So you get on Miltek's website and order up the valved system and suddenly £2000 gets taken off your credit card.

Third, modding. Everything costs a considerable amount for very few gains. The only major increase is by putting a supercharger on it and well you're lucky to get change from £20,000!

Brakes £1000 for parts alone....

Etc etc

I live by a simple code when it comes to cars and it's this:

If running costs < fun = keep it
If running costs > fun = sell it.

cracking car there mate, really like the whole deal. The front bumper works better on a darker car than I thought it would. Overall you have a aggressive looking car, and to that end, I think a darker set of rims would work better, not black, but maybe grey or such like.

Still a very cool car. And I am not biased at all !

Thanks mate. The front bumper looks a little bit worse for wear after the round trip to Spain but the std msport one will go on for a bit whilst I get this one strengthened and re-painted.

Oh and watch this space on the. Wheels

Lovely looking car matey..can't beat a bit of SGM action As has been mentioned I think the wheels would look better in a darker colour..something like a Shadow Chrome.

Where did you get your smoked indicators from? Mine standard ones are starting to fade and the smoked ones look perfect on SGM!

Thanks mate, high praise indeed right there!

I'd love to take the car to Gaydon but I've just got home from some emergency surgery today so not sure I'll be well enough to make Gaydon. Also the front bumper is looking tired at the moment at it got a bit mashed on my recent journey to Spain and back!! It'll be getting re sprayed soon though.

Thanks buddy. I'm not a big fan of Shadow Chrome though but some darker wheels might/might not be coming soon!

I got the indicators from ebay. Off a seller in Taiwan or somewhere. I think the really suit the SGM.

Bernard looks so nice.
Cant add anything positive to say about storm though I know 3 people that have had bad service from them in the past and still waiting for a call from them to do a simple job on my car (8 months or so later even after chasing them numerous times). After the horror stories I have since heard I feel I have dodged a bullet there.

Thanks mate.

I'm sure you're not the first or the last person to hear negative things about Storm. I personally have never had a problem with them or any of the work they have carried out on my cars over the past 6 years.

They even enabled me to buy the 335i before it was too late, by purchasing my S3 from me knowing they had done all the modifications to it.
