Still working on it...full swing now.
Give me 4 weeks for a first prototype. This air box is really cramped so this will have to be really well thought out.

Battlewagon, how does the Streamline filter compare to the BMC filter? Thanks.

...Rome was not built overnight...okay okay I know it is only a filter...but...these things take time...
Molds are on the CNC machine as of last week... Quote:
As far as protection, I have not tested it but giving the fact that they do not post filtration results on their website makes me curious. Streamline will always have ISO 5011 test results available on the website. As far as performance, they will be on the same playing field...but the reason the Streamlines take so long to bring to market is that we try to tune the filter to the characteristics of each vehicles air box...it will not be just another cookie cutter design. I am just trying to differentiate the filter to provide something a little special as I do not have the resources to mass produce these nor design one for every vehicle on the market. We can differentiate our filter with details mostly invisible to the consumer such as: 1. Deepest pleats possible for each design 2. 50% to 100% more cotton plies then the competition 3. Sturdy full urethane framework 4. Tested to ISO 5011 standard I have to pick and choose carefully the cars to "Streamline" |

As soon as I get a final design the price will be finalized...
As point of references: The Streamline E46 M3 was $78 Shipped. The 335 filter will be a bit more expensive (I think) but not sure yet...so I am estimating about $85 -$90 (+tax for CA residents) shipped anywhere in continental USA + Hawaii. |

Value = product/cost
So something thats supposedly better and costs less would obviously be higher value.
