Still not a bad price if the Blizzaks have more than 6/32" tread left - Bridgestone states diminished winter performance at around 5-6/32" remaining tread. There is an extra set of tire wear bars between outer tread block & next row in - if tread is flush with these - tire is down to 5/32" & basically not too good in deep snow. Tires start @ 12/32" & outer 6/32" tread compound is the 'special' compound with all the sipes/multicell tubes, under that is different compound. I get around 3 seasons out of a set before they hit 5/32" - then I have to toss em' and get a new set  These are nice looking winter wheels & Blizzaks can't be beat on snow/ice 4-6" first snow here in PA tomorrow...
