It is happier until you reach -25 -30 Celcius. BMW's starters are not very effective in this temperature.
I can definitely hear the air a lot more into my air intake thought. |

the best is after a carwash and weather is -20 to -30 includes windchill, you hear every squeek from the windows and the shocks squeek due to it being frozen. gotta love. Canada

I like my garage Even if -25 -30 Celsius outside (-22F), the garage is 10-15 Celsius (50-60F) so the car starts easily

We had a cold front come through Florida yesterday. It's currently 81* with a high of 82* lol. Funny part is even low 80's with low huminidty makes the car feel so much better.

The only thing that annoys me in the cold are those stupid TPMS sensors. I bought brand new ones of the latest part number last January when i put rims and tires on and it will still have a malfunction when it hits 40. My stock ones did the same thing.

I lived in Jackson Hole for a season and drove a 99' 4runner limited (best overall car I've owned). We had a few mornings close to -35F. I'd go outside, turn the key once, the car would start right up every time with zero hesitation. I'd let er run for a few minutes and head out. My n54 has no problem with the old (faster car in the cold) but when I turn the steering wheel it creaks like an old barn door. Anyone have that?

since the temp has dropped below 45 here ive been getting a horrible sound when i start the car, sound like glass shattering or metal grinding. Just the worst high pitch squeal, that only last for a second. it almost sound like when you try to start a car thats already on. any ideas?
