its pretty cool looking, but I still like the e92 M3 style. But I'm sure the 1 will be more fun to toss around on a track.

I guess none or most of you guys have ever driven an e36 M3 or even an e30 M3.
I test drove the 335 twice and coulnt pull the trigger and from every review I have seen for the new M3 they say its losing its road feel.My e36 M3 feels 10x better than the 335 felt. This car will be a new e36 sized car and will feel like a track car right out the box. The 6 piston brakes are the real deal. The 135 comes with them. This is a Turbo TI....BMW is briging back its heritage with this car. ![]() I guess most of the people here are new to BMWs and havnt felt there old school cars to see what I'm talking about. Go test drive a e36 M3 and then drive a 335 right after and you will see exactly what I mean. This thread should be in here since the car is getting the same 335 engine. |

Btw, this is the 1 series production car. All they did was add a carbon fiber hood and a few other small panels, racing seats, and paint racing stripes on it. You could do this for under 5 k. If done in the aftermarket, you could probably get a similar car as this concept for the same price as a 335 coupe (since the 135 is going to be 5+k less). http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1960 Last edited by dustinst22; 10-28-2007 at 01:17 PM.. |

I don't know what's wrong with the headlight.
![]() Is there something I'm missing? It looks similar to the e92 headlight.

They ARE brembos.......go and check the link posted above and scroll down to the bottom of the 1st page http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1960 -- it has been confirmed. Also, you can see the brembo logo on there in the close ups. |

I want brembo's on my e92 damnit!!
I had them on my S60R and they were just great. However I do find the brakes on the 335 to be good as well, just not great. Brembo's + race pads + SS lines = heaven

Erm, the 135 has the same brakes as the 335 there killer. Or at least very close. Going by the data I saw the 135 has .4 inch smaller rotors on a car weighing 200 pounds less, so they're about the same. But the 1 also has Brembos and 6 pots. (Though pistons are primarily for marketing and I have yet to hear a coherent argument why more are better.)
Additionally, you need to take into account the hub size. 15" brakes with a huge hub can have less surface area than 13" with a very small hub.

Finally? I said once that they weren't Bremobs because I missed a TINY logo that had to be zoomed 10x to be seen and you say finally?
Interesting. Also even if they are manufactured by Brembo, that doesn't exactly impress me? I wonder if it impresses you? |

Maybe next time don't argue over and over about something that you aren't sure of. And yeah, brembos are insanely good. Just a suggestion. ![]() |

They're nice, but theres nothing amazing about brakes manufactured by brembo. Their brake kits are amazing because they combine massive rotors with massive calipers to stop on a dime. That is not what I'm seeing here. And call me a buzz kill if you will. |
