I just got a slightly used E46 M3 a couple months ago. I absolutely love the car, and I also test drove the 335i. I agree that I just couldn't get into the 335i for whatever reason. Then I drove a Z4 coupe (non-M) at the BMW Susan B Komen Breast Cancer Drive and I loved the Z4 styling. If the Z4M could come with SMG I would definitely be all over that.
Either way congrats and great purchase. Enjoy!

... Stock vs Stock the 335i gets creamed. With Procede V1.47 its even from a 5mph roll to about 80 when the S54 Comes alive and pulls about a Car length on the chipped 335i. End of story.

There's one more guy floating somewhere on here that posted in another thread. He also has a 335i and a Z4M, and he will tell you the same thing I did.

It really is a shame that some 335 owners give everyone a bad name, because there are plenty who aren't assholes. I think it has to do with the fact that the car is faster than a lot of cars that cost more gives an "Evo style" attitude that I'm sweet because my cheaper car is faster than your expensive car.

i know this is OT but especially with the whole procede and all - i swear, they think it makes our cars unstoppable AND it doesnt. i have a procede myself and i know this isnt the fastest thing ever. yes its quick and fastER, but its not the fastest |

Aren't those japanese systems? It sounds familiar from my rsx days. I believe they make some really high end titanium clad exhausts for a lot of the jdm crowd. I could totally be mistaken though.

Any 07's still on the lot can be had for a song. Think under invoice iirc.
