Here's what you need to do:
1. Go back and PM techkeith the last 7 digits of your VIN to find out if your warranty was voided or not. Then go from there.

I haven't read AFRs on cylinders individually (of course), but the gas analyzer/WBO2 on the dyno has me safely rich throughout the rev range. I just have to reduce my boost a bit more than I'd like to up high, and I believe its due to ignition. If there was a fueling problem, there would be other signs and probably detonation. I'm getting no detonation at all, just a high RPM misfire on #1 when the wick is turned up. Everywhere else its smooth as butter.

I think that if I close the gap a bit on that plug, the problem will go away completely, but I need to find a way to remove the plug to check it out.
Cool then, toss a plug in that bad boy and let us know how it goes. You know something easy to tell if it's a coil is to swap the problem cylinder's coil with on that isn't misfiring. If the misfire follows the coil, then you know what's wrong.

CEL with the misfire fault on which ever cylinder it may be? Or sputtering, rough running, wanting to stall symptons?

Did you have the car diagnosed by the dealer? Even if your warranty was voided, which I still dont believe, they would still work on it. You would just have to pay for the work done. Theres no reason to throw parts at it in your driveway. Thats stupid.

PM me the last seven characters of your VIN if you would be so kind? We'll see if its voided.

Since boost has been raised quite a bit over the factory level now, it would be interesting to see if knocking the Gap down a little or going to a colder plug would help.

In Evo-land, we would reduce the gap a little bit on race gas powered GT30R cars and it cured misfire issues completely. I know that when modding a car you'll have some CELs, its a fact of life. The fact that BMW goes over the top and throws the car into an almost undrivable limp mode which often requires a restart is recockulous, though. Pull timing, enrichen, I don't care. Just don't throw me into frakking limp mode!
