Just got myself and Audi 5 too of but of the S5 variety. Unfortunately it's the 4 door version so doesn't come with the V8 although the supercharged V6 is still pretty special. After owning several BMW's, I'd never owned an Audi but needed something with 4 doors to cart the family around and just didn't want to go for another BMW and I have to say it's been an eye opener.

Yes it's a bit duller to drive then a BMW, the controls are way too light with too much assistance for steering\brakes etc but as a daily hack it's brilliant. The 4wd makes it feel a little heavy handed but gives it daily, all weather ground covering ability that the BMW can't hope to match and the interior quality and toys are on another level. For out and out fun it isn't as good as a BMW so if that's what you want the car for than I can see why you'd not like them but for what I need it to do it's just better, now I finally get why they are so popular.

yes makes sense and when i test drove the car a few times it did seem much lighter. the car (coupe) looks nice and i like the lines of the car.
the gizmos are brill too, as it has the MMI (i need to check which version) i can upgrade various bits.
i guess it is unfair for me to compare my 325 (3ltr) with the 3.0 tdi as the power and torque ratings vary, but i do love the e92, much nimble than the a5.....
let see when i use it as a daily driver tho

Nice car.

That's a suspiciously high revving diesel in the video!

You can change the power steering input level via VCDS software aslong as its electronic steering

Funny - when first looking over the interior of my S4, the first thought that came to mind was - Shit, there's no-way I'm gonna try taking this feckin thing apart!

Popping your sim-card in to the sim slot and navigating with Google maps is a pretty cool piece of tech.
