It is very tricky. Some tips I would advise are.
*Have someone hold the parts while you polish them.
*only flatten areas that need it ( I would not advise p1500 the full piece just aim to flatten any orange peal or dirt etc and avoid corners, edges etc trust me one spec of dirt on an edge looks a whole lot better than a nasty burn through !! )
*DO NOT RUSH take plenty of time
*Make several light passes with the buff. ( be patient if u try and go heavy atol on these you will burn through )

The hardest piece is by far the centre with the idrive knob and gear stick. I didn't bother polishing the door panels got a good finish off the gun.

Done this today. Not much difference from standard but the original silver paint was pealing and I had some silver carbon wrap lying around.

Cleaned out the rest of the interior and quickly vacuumed the carpets ( could use a shampoo ) and got some better pics in the day light. Safe to say I am very happy with the results ! The leather cleaned up like new !!!

Can yous recommend any places or online shops I can purchase alluminum panel for my car? I do not like the wood panels on dash or doors and want to purchase new ones or wrap them.

I think I'm gonna pull the centre trim back out ( piece with the idrive knob, gear shifter etc ). Now that it's back in the car at night under street lights etc I can see a few flattening marks and looks kind crap. The rest is completely fine it's just this particular piece it is impossible to buff/polish properly. So I have decided to pull it back out and just need to make sure I get a good finish straight off the gun. It's the only way to get this piece done right.

Picture doesn't show what I'm talking about but believe me at night the street lights show it up pretty bad
