1. using the stalk, toggle to SET > [picture of clock]
2. selection button will move you between hours and minutes, use the toggle lever to move "down" one hour.
3. press selector button once to accept
4. press selector button again for one seccond to set and return to main view.

This is for iDrive and non-iDrive.

GPS time is ONLY UTC (what used to be Greenwich Mean Time). It doesn't know anything about time zones or daylight time. While it would be theoretically possible for a GPS unit to have a local table of time zones, etc. and then set the local time based on the geographical position, I've never seen a unit that does that. You have to at least set the Time Zone manually. Unfortunately, BMW doesn't seem to have even that.
