We have an office in Glasgow which, at the moment, only handles sales enquiries and returns. We are planning on setting up a facility in the UK, but are still working out the logistics.

I can possibly unbolt my 335d differential and ship to you for development. Can you tell me this, If I do ship my unit to you with 103K Kilometers, can you develop a LSD option and ring gear for the US guys and also send me mine back completely built? Mine is from an 07 335d wagon. Do you happen to offer a billet differential cover?

After we receive the pumpkin, we would disassemble, take our measurements, then reassemble and ship back to you so that you could get your car back on the road. This would take a couple weeks. If this is a spare pumpkin, or you have another car to drive and are willing to wait the 2-3 months, we could rebuild it with the new LSD and Final Drive before shipping back to you.

We don't have a billet diff cover unfortunately.

Yeah, we still need to find a DCT sample. We would need the diff for around 2-3 weeks, so we can take our measurements etc, then we can ship back to you. It would then be around 2-3 months for the new LSD and final drives to be ready.

Our facility is in San Dimas, CA.

I thought that the manual trans ratios were 3.08 and Auto's had a 3.46 Gear ratio...

Can you elaborate on this maintenance for the plate types? I'm assuming more frequent differential oil changes for one.

Depending on how you put the Plate LSD to use, the wear will be on the plates (the plates rub against each other. This is what causes the lock) and the springs (these provide the pre-load, but will wear with time).

Due to the rubbing of the plates, and increased heat, this will also mean you will need to change the differential oil more often than what an oem or Helical LSD would need.
