im not hating, i would never hate. im happy moms went out and got the C-class. but i test drove it when it came out, the C-class just doesnt feel like a benz should and the interior is made cheap.

I hate Mercedes because I had a 2002 C Class that was the cheapest POS I ever owned. But the new C looks good for a grandma to have.

If she was so biased about MBZs quality, she should've went with the E-Class.. much better looking and much better ride feel. WTH is up with the shark fin on the C.. not only does it look like a sex toy, it just totally wants to be "us".

the car is leased, it's just a temp. car till the new E comes and then she will switch it out.

i know imma get flame for this but i was never a fan of the e90 so my vote goes to the C for exterior styling.
Everything else the bmw gets my vote.

Meh... not bad. I might prefer the very last of the previous generation in the sport trim, to the new C. Without bias, I still don't, and probably never will, understand people digging this interior over the 3. It always screams Hyundai/Kia/plastic to me. I love the 3's interior - clean and classy, and not flashy -it's solid. Man, I love it.

Anyway, grats for her.

could not disagree more... i think the exterior of the new C is stunning, but Diamler has penny-pinched with cheap looking plastic all over the dash. THey gave the consumer seats without memory. You only get 2 choices for seat colors... black or grey (how exciting). The AUX jack for an iPod is in the glove box (very useful if I want to switch tracks) Bluetooth does not download your phonebook (you have to program every number into your car).The interior door handles are hollowed out. The AC controls feel cheap. The passanger side of the car is nothing but a dark plastic canvas to stare at. No badge, no nice trim... just empty black plastic to stare at. Need I go on?

I was about to pull the trigger on a C until I sat inside one.

HOWEVER! It will be perfectfor your Mom. I doubt she needs the gadgetry I am interested in. Plus, a comfy ride is important.
