Here's the screenshot. Seems to match what other people have posted, 29F4 relates to the other 3 cylinders and was exactly the same.
Think I'm right in that I'm not seeing this in map 1, 2 or 5 because autoclear is on and all this is telling me is it can't see the pre-cats. [IMG][/IMG] As Doughboy says, can anyone else tell me what map they've had their JB4 set at for a UK MOT? Thanks |

To be clear
The cats in the DP's are the primary cats (not pre cats) and the ones in the mid pipes are the secondaries. Going catless DP's will increase the risk of failing emissions. I passed a couple of times but failed this year - due more I think to my aggressive fuelling map (Bms flash). The guy put it down to faulty sensor and passed it anyway.

Good news, I just got a pass.
On Saturday I had it serviced and the technician thought because I mainly do short journeys (my daily commute is a 26 mile round trip) the cats might be bunged up. He put it on a sulphur brun mode and I did 20mins at a steady 2500rpm. Took it back to the MOT tester just now and got a clear pass. JB4 map 0 in case anyone is reading this down the line. Thanks all for the input and help. |

A quick search tells me that the brun is the final two cm of a penis. So therefore either the technician had burnt his member while trying to do something unmentionable to my exhaust pipe (which may totally explain the emissions problem I've been having)
. . . . . . OR . . . I spely burn wrong (which is far more likely) |

As Phil says " To be clear

" My 335i went through but it was sailing close to the magic fail I've seen another one at work go through the MOT with very similar results to mine guess the only thing I can say is bear Phil's wise comments in mind come the MOT. |
