Im confused why iv removed at least 15 bmw spoiler. Most factory fitted all all have been 3m tape. The only one that wasnt is that 2 piece one they sell. Ill look for a pic.

I've always used the bonding agent with the M3 CF performance spoilers just because of the high angle they sit at. I can't imagine the 3M tape holding on with the increased air resistance at higher speeds, but if people have done it then maybe it can.

3m tape is the quickest, cheapest and most practical method.......especially if you sell the your vehicle in the future or decide to use another spoiler style.

"Tiger Seal" is used by a lot of bodyshops to fit bodykit parts.
I've used it to fix front mudguard extenders to motorbikes. Sticky as fuck, but remains flexible when set -hence ideal. |

3m tape!!!
My bc.moto spoiler came with tape, alcohol wipe and adhesive promoter. Clean the spoiler area with (and thisay sound daft) fairy liquid - it will remove any wax etc to give a nice clean, contaminate free surface. Use the alcohol wipe to remove anything else left over. Put the adhesive promoter on and leave for 30mins. Attach tape to the spiler and then fix to car using even pressure along its full length. Sticks like **** |

If you value your paintwork never put fairy liquid near it as fairy liquid is abrasive. Clean car as normal first, or use flash or another all purpose cleaner if you want to go a bit harder. Then use the alcohol wipe. That is more than enough to clean the surface. |

I hardly think a bit of fair liquid on a small area of the boot lid that's getting a spoiler stuck to it with some seriously sticky s**t is going to do a great amount of damage to the paint
Would never was the whole car with it, would be like giving next doors kids a fiver to wash the car with a wire brush But I know it completely removes any was or sealants that are there for a good clean sticking surface. Anyway that's what I did and it worked a treat |
