OP - Your contract of purchase is with the supplying dealer. THEY, or their subcontractor refurbished the wheels, so THEY are responsible for resolving this problem.

If you're getting the run-around from a sales or service bod contact the Dealer Principal.

Don't take no for an answer.

You purchased from a main dealer so that situations like this are taken care of in an appropriate and painless manner.

Just to update - they have now agreed to refurb the wheels - from a place called WRC in preston , which i'm not over the moon about as i've heard their works not the best. Suppose it's better than milky laquer though!

Thanks for all the help & advice.

All work should come with a 12 month warranty or guarantee. Go with it and see how it goes. Still waiting to hear back from my mate but will let you know when I do.

Your products shite & your fixing it out of good will? How very decent of you! I hate that refurb company - such a rip off, if I'd have known they were going there in the first place id have left it

I was chatting about diamond cut wheels at the place I got mine refurbed, he said they wouldn't even give a guarantee with them and they have an expected life of 6 months before they start going manky!
I was glad to get shot of mine, personally I'd get them sprayed all one colour, its the best thing I did with mine

I agree with most wheels, they look shite with diamond cut but to me 313s just don't look right without it.

Any dealer you would recommend local to this area then? Thinking more from a servicing point of view. Bought mine from Sytner Nottingham who were great, but it's a bit of a trek! Whenever I've been into the Preston dealership, I've never even been approached or spoken to. Let us know how you get on with the 313 refurbs, kerbed one of mine yesterday and wanted to cry!

Picked up on this thread from my own M313 thread posted today. Interesting comment re this particular dealer - when I was looking for my E92 they were utterly abysmal - so much so that I wouldn't ever consider buying or servicing a car there.

I'd booked a test drive and knew the E92 I wanted fairly well, and had cash waiting as they say. So I turn up in my jeans and t-shirt and encounter that old school 'christ-another-dreamer' attitude. The sales guy couldn't have been less interested, and I ended up taking 30k's worth of E92 8/900 yards around the Preston Docks - brilliant test drive, how on earth you can make a decision with that experience is beyond me.

So I called Lloyd Blackpool (a sales guy called Simon) from their car park, zipped over in 30mins and spent the best part of the afternoon testing 325d and 330d's back to back - brilliant service.

Nice to see so many locals - also Chorley based Wave if you see the Space Grey 330d with a Japanese number plate... You'll know it when you see it!

Yes same here ... After seeing this thread I inspected my alloys too and noticed centre caps had some mighty oxidation.

Went to Sytner Leicester who in two days got my car and replaced all 4 alloy wheels (313's)

Wonder what the dealers do with all the returns.
