The pitch sounds the same, but I am curious how loud it is. I could careless what it sounds like with the hood open. I am curious what it sounds like with the hood closed driving from the inside and outside personally.

the HKS is loud as crap, if you get on it, it'll make a squeak sound, at low RPM it will just swoosh and sound like a queef Loudness will depend on how much boost you're running...but trust me, the SP kit and the Ultimate racing kit will sound EXACTLY the same...

Nothing with a drive by or anything. I can give you a sound clip of it on a GT-60 and it sounds a heck of a lot different my friend.

I was driving our shop car around with one of these kits and with the windows up and stereo playing, you really can't hear it. If you crank the radio down a notch with the windows slightly cracked you can hear it. BMW just made the cabin so perfect it's hard for any road/external noise to make it through.
External fly-by video's coming tomorrow. Ed |

I got 8 kits left, 2 are spoken for. Instructions just got finished up, and I will be getting more clear video clips tomorrow. The video we took the past 2 days are just no good, we are trying a different camera tomorrow.

I think the mic on the previous videos were not as good to capture the sound. Maybe try filming further away from the car so the sound wont' be distorted.

Tried a diff camera today, along with a true hand held recorder. The hand held came out better, I will be uploading it on Youtube for all to see later tonight.
Another kit sold, 7 left until pricing goes back up to regular pricing. Thanks! Ed @ SP-POWER |

The blow off sounds much better under load! My friend has one and it sounds so much better under load than while just reving! There are a few clips on YouTube of different kits using the HKS SSQV. There are plenty of clips from inside the cabin and fly by's! I don't want to post any links cause that would be just wrong since this is SP's post.
Definitely a great piece of equipment and a good price! |

I got some decent footage today but Youtube won't let me upload a video file that large, let me figure this out a little more and I'll hopefully have a link soon.
