The lower bumpers are a semi gloss. They are not shiny, but not 100% matte either.

The slats on our kidney grilles are not as shiny as jet black either, but they are shinier than flat black. All of our inside pieces are black ABS plastic so they really only come in that color.

The picture above has Alpine White outer grilles with our regular black inside slats.

We can make this happen for you no problem, just let us know!!

Which side is the modified side? BTW I never received your PM for some reason! (Maybe you didn't send it?) haha

you can PM me again if you would like and we can talk about it... I have a buddy with a 328 who would swap lower mesh grilles with me so I wanted to know what I have to order from you guys in order to do a swap with him..

thanks,
PJ

All you would need then is the modified side (passenger side). Your buddy's lower bumper grilles will block your oil cooler that is behind your passenger side wheel well.

Our piece is an opened up ABS plastic piece that looks/fits 100% like the stock one does. This "opening up" of the grill is what we call the modified side. It's modified so that air can flow through the grill and into your oil cooler.

If your friend wants to swap with you, cool! All you would need from us is the passenger side grill. If not, then we sell the whole kit for $80 shipped.

Let me know!

So do you have the parts I requested in stock and ready to ship if I send payment? (painted AW kidneys with glossy black slits, and painted reflectors)...also wanted to clear up, if the slats aren't painted jet black, and they're not matte black, what paint color do you use to get the glossy? Should I be afraid of the paint around the edges of the kidneys to chip? Is it made of ABS plastic or did you guys just paint over the chrome?

The colors that are in stock were posted at the beginning of this thread. Any other colors will have to wait until our body shop re-opens (they took an x-mas vacation) January 7th.

I'll keep you guys posted!

Lower bumper grilles however, are in stock!

How do you put the lower black grills on? Does the bumper need to be removed?

Is the quality the same as OEM? My concern is lower grills are more likely to chip.

These WILL NOT CHIP! They are the same OEM ABS plastic as OEM; NOT painted.

* Yes, removal of the bumper is recommended for install. We have seen some customers do it by removing the black plastic piece under the bumper and putting their hands in there, but its very difficult. The bumper removal on this car is VERY easy. Much easier than the E46 and others

Let us know if you guys have any other questions!

What would be great is if you would make a mesh lower for the e90 that would replace the current spears all together.
