I like the wheel actually though I do also like the MV4's too, though on your colour I'd agree with the new wheel re a subtle colour change and a small drop, re warranty if the drop directly contributed to a component failure then perhaps they'd be grounds to Devine a claim if it wee dropped (I'd only di a subtle drop at most)then I don't personally see the harm beside if you look at the offside rears of some BMW cars you can sometimes see a 12mm difference so who's the judge on rude height re suspension when there's issues straight from the factory(and it's a known issue and has plagued the brand for years)

I dont think the angle of the 1st photo in the thread is doing the car any favours at all.
Take a photo like the one suggested, or an angle like this and it will look totally different!

Also, I will happily photoshop it for you so you can see how it would look lowered

I like them, a lot! Going up a tyre size will definitely help....

Get some pictures on a flat and open location and I bet they'll look a lot better.

Regardless of the pic angle, I think they are a very good looking wheel. Sort out the ride height and it will be spot on in my opinion.

As we know my tyres are too small for the rims....

Couple of questions - is there any safety issue with the tyres I have on the car at the moment as I have a long motorway trip to do next week.

I have searched for new run flats but most seem to show up XL(extra load) range in the description are these basically the same as run flats.

Thank you in advance for your superior knowledge in this subject, as I know bugger all....

With that minimal amount of stretch i cant see a major safety issue. They wont perform as well at the limit as tyre's of the correct size but aslong as your not driving like a loon you won't notice. Theres less protection from kerbs so stay away from them but that's not so much a safety issue. First contact will be your alloy instead of the tyre, which in some circumstances can minimize damage.

Regarding your other query.

Much better with drop and ditch the run flats when you go up a size !!
