Yep... they usually run out of fuel around that range... doesn't mean the turbos cant take it. You can hit above 20 psi on stock turbos >4k, shaft speeds are really not that high that low in the rev range.

My cam ledges were changed out about 3500 miles ago.
I went in for a rough idle condition. They diagnosed, a couple of leaky valve seals and that's where the fun began. Pulled head, replaced seals, cleaned valve faces and intake ports. Cam ledges replaced. Oil filter housing leaking. Oil pan gasket weeping. Misc..... Glad it was still CPO. This was my very last service before expiration. Did research on parts and labor. About $4800 for a head rebuild and oil pan gasket. Me $50. Also checked service/warranty history. Cam ledges were replaced at under 30K miles also.
