Yes, but even the biggest cowboys would clean stains from the seats. Your appraisal of them is 100% supportive to never buy from these cowboys. What exactly is positive about taking your money and giving you a filthy car at a crap price?

Personally I'm more concerned with the drivetrain of the car over some dirt. Should have cleaned it I agree but if the car is mechanically sound I can see past it.

This is the link to the car I bought (still on the site so maybe one of you can go look at it !) I actually called the day after I paid the deposit while the car still on the site but was told it has been marked as sold.

Case closed then, all must be good at Big Motoring World. Welcome, problem is many on here will think you have had a bung to write those posts or are related to the award winning team. Good luck.

Nope I definitely not affiliated to them in any way.

I had read this post and was nervous going over to be completely honest. I did call and mention the post to them and they're well aware of it. I just wanted to add some balance here as I had a relatively good experience with them.

It's like trip advisor, what good is a post if it doesn't contain both sides? A lot of people have had bad experiences, I had a good one. Thats the only point of my post.

I think the fact that "your" car is still for sale on their site says it all!

Fair point, but you can understand the suspicion when your only posts are defending these guys and Big Motoring Wankers have been rumbled before for making obvious posts on this thread extolling their own virtues, especially owning an e60. Unlike their past efforts, at least your posts are legible.

If you are really a genuine buyer, and you still went to them despite reading this thread, then you're a brave man.

Have dealt with these people on a professional basis a couple of times over the years. A few years ago , when late E36's were very popular, many cars had issues with the digital a/c controls - Teynham Trade Centre / Bapchild Motoring World as they were then known, kept a new climate unit in stock, to be fitted to a suspect car just before a test drive / demo , then removed before collection by the new unfortunate owner. A/C packed up of course 'speak to the warranty co' would be the reply - a saving then of £185.00 per car for them as most of the high mileage cars had this problem.

A few years later I visited them to carry out a pre - purchase check on a B3 cab, to find that not only did it have two hopelessly worn out front wishbones on the car and a bent inner wing, it also had a fresh MOT ! From them of course ! Needless to say . the client was advised to look elsewhere.

I agree with the point about Rogue Traders, I wonder if they would be interested in doing a little spot on Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4?

Then we could really get the truth...

I noticed that alright over the weekend. When you call up though they say it's sold so at least anyone who calls won't make an unnecessary trip.......if you don't you'd be caught out though !

This is such a stitch-up . You've signed onto this forum, as a 5 series owner, and only (from what I can tell) posted onto this thread defending this company. You've not posted on this thread since 31st August, yet, 1hr 40min after I make a post you're here once more defending the company; I don't suppose you've subscribed to this thread have you .

LOL

You can almost hear the cogs going round. Big Motoring World Board Meeting - "Right, how do we make out we can be trusted to actually have the phantom cars we advertise and counter all this bad publicity on the web? I know, lets come up with a fake punter, perhaps who has travelled a long way but we can make out that they got great service from us. Heck, lets push the boat out and get someone who's come all the way from Scotland to buy a car! No wait, lets really lay it on thick and fabricate an Irish punter who actually got on a plane to come and buy a car from us! Genius!"
