Tire compound is more important than tire width. The PSS are a good compromise between longevity and traction. They are much better than the run flats you have now but you could find other tires that have better traction than the PSS while sacrificing treadware. I run the PSS on my 335i but I ended up buying some drag radials after the runs I linked. Cory S is running a PS2 on his xDrive. He could give you a better idea on which tires will perform a certain way.

I ran mine on a 17 inch wheel at 22 psi and did a 1.7 60 foot launching in 2nd gear leaving on about 8 psi. Planning to lower the tire pressure a little more and leaving at about 12 psi.

Happy with my runs at the track the other day. Running MHD beta v1.51 stage 2+ ACN91/CAD94 tune on stock RFT at 25psi. Mods in signature.

Nice 60 foot! You should be able to hit very low 12's with higher octane and more boost/timing.

Thanks! The track was cold and spectators were surprised that I was spinning a bit off the line with my AWD car. I think next time I go down, I will throw some e85 in the tank and try running a higher octane tune. I will do some logs before hand and make sure all is good! Will post back how I do.

Went back to the track running MHD E30 tune. Ran 12.42@110MPH. Was hoping for a bit faster time coming off the stage 2 + ACN91/CAD94 tune in my earlier post, but have to realize you can only get so much out of the stock turbo.

Best time I got today was 13.4 with MHD2+ 91ACN with 2 gallons e85. Dp, 5inch fmic, bms intake, cp, xhp stage 3. I can post pictures later I think it was just my atrocious starts. First time btw lol

Managed to get back to the track tonight and work on my shift points. Very happy to be running low 12's on the stock turbo with E30 OTS MHD tune.

Yes. Auto, with Xdrive, launch in 1st, break boost with the gas pedal to the floor and let it fly lol. I was shifting at 5600 rpms and riding out fourth gear threw the line.

So my last run at the track before bring the car back to stock. I managed an 11.7 @ 120 mph. Overall a very good mph given the car was only running 18 psi. I also used Dragy during the run and managed a 3.66 0-60. I wished I would have used it on the run with my 1.7 60 foot.

12.1 is pretty good with a 111 mph in our cars. I was thinking you may have had some timing pulls up top. I have been seeing timing pulled up top which explains the 120 mph vs the 125 mph I had on my old JB4/Cobb setup.

Yeah I'm curious to see what I can do with more timing and race fuel. I got a map ready from Ken that I need to test with race fuel. Going out today to log and get that dialed in
