Leitrim: I checked BMW Owner's Circle for my car and it finally changed the status to "At preparation center". You should do that too; if it's the same status it will confirm that your CA is full of sh*t.

Thanks unxdawg. I will check the owner's circle and see what it comes up with. I suspected it to be BS, but wasn't sure. Definitely didn't think the ship was just sitting there on it's thumbs. It's got places to be...

Ok just checked the OC and it's still "En route". Damn. Even when I call the 800 number it says "at port awaiting a shipping vessel. This sucks ass.

My dealer told me the car should definitely be in first thing tomorrow morning....I can't get off work during the day though....hopefully I can pick it up at night and take a nice canyon run.

Man, my car hasn't even gotten to the VPC yet. Stupid Customs on ED cars, hopefully it won't be much longer. It's cool that you guys are getting your cars though. You better post pictures!!

Yeah sucks man, sorry. I also heard that ED cars usually have a harder time because they think us Americans drive them up to Amsterdam and hide stuff!

Haha, ya, My understanding is they take a little closer look at the ED cars so they take a bit longer in customs. Wouldn't want any contraban getting in.

Edit: Just checked the Owners Circle and it says my car's at the VPC

Yeah, I checked OC yesterday and it finally said that it was at the Prep Center.

I left a message for my CA so maybe, just maybe it may arrive this weekend if they ship today. Whatever, I know it's almost here. Sure'd be nice to show the old man my new car though.
