Another beater. Yesterday, this was $2,000 and the write up was hilarious. He said, "body is average considering age. Interior is average considering age. Both are filthy dirty and I'm not going to clean it. I don't want to answer a bunch of questions, I just want to sell it. I'm not going to lie and say it'll take you to California. It starts and runs ok, but it needs work...."

... looks like he gave it a $1,500 exterior wash. Not enough to vacuum out the inside though.

Not in the market as I already have 2 e91s, but I just saw that one here asking 13.5k for a 200k high mileage pre lci rebuilt title car. Then my curiosity had me browsing for e91s and I see this: https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/...231651509.html

Another rebuilt title e91 and an automatic asking like 13k...

My thoughts exactly. I ignored the market for most of the pandemic and was shocked by what I've seen in the last few weeks. By this logic I have $100k worth of E91s sitting in my garage LOL!

Nothing.
Only Golf Alltrack is available with a manual. Even if manual is not important, everything out there seems to be a 2.0L turbo these days with Logitech-like driving experience.

On a license test (note the ommission of "drivers") in 5 years, there will be a question:

Wow! E91 prices definitely seem to be rising. Maybe I should think about flipping my 07. Black, Sport package with Lemon Dakota interior (couldn't find a reference to that color in the 2007 brochure!). Of course my 18 yr old daughter would shoot me if I tried to sell her daily driver...Hanz T . Love that straight six and sport seats. Cheers

Apparently it's a lot stronger now than back in the 70s...

That salvage title E91 is probably worth $2500 to an insurance company in a total loss situation (assuming you insure with a company that will write a comp/collision policy for a car with salvage title). It's always interesting how someone markets such a car never mentioning the critically important details of what created the total loss claim in the first place.

Lol! I paid that price for my 2012 Bluewater Sport E91 with the same interior, M sport package and 91k miles. OH! and no R title. Nuts.

Wow - BAT definitely plays favorites with catering to repeat business. This thing has nothing special - pre-lci, automatic, no sport pkg, AND and accident.

Yep! It is turning into a favorites on there for sure. I submitted a special edition Audi TT a few months back with 93k miles and one owner and they denied it. Two months later the EXACT same car down to the color/mileage and ownership history popped up on BaT (wasn't the same car I was selling just exact same specs) via one of the 'regular' BaT sellers.
