I don't ride around with a car full of people, just my girl in the front . I actually removed my rear seats and 'custom fitted' a cutout of the bottom and back, then put a nice black felt material over it so it blends in like nothing is there. It's more practical for me than having the seats, i just un-velcro and slide the back part down when i need to carry or move shit.

Ya I took a few after I first did it, I fixed the wrinkles and had it adjusted better then put velcro on the back and the bottom folded over the seat. It's a little messy right now after moving cross county, was planning all along to make a 'proper' insert with good material. Might turn the rear seats into a game chair

How did you get the "335is" to high light. My dash lights up already, but not the "335is" which I of thought it should have.

Oryginally 335is shouldnt be high lighted ( from behind in this shields ,,335is,, has got plastic so light can not shine if you are looking at it from driver view.)

I opened dash, removed oryginal shields and bought new shields (60$ in Poland) ,
In new shields company which produce them, cutted from behind plastic material ( I asked them to do it ) so only white foil stayed (from behind) on the ,,335is,,

I am not sure if you understand my english... ?

Has anyone replaced the stock suspension? My '11's is starting to show it's age as far as ride comfort, and the shocks are making a bit of noise going over bumps.

Thinking of getting a BILSTEIN B12 Pro-Kit (with eibach springs included), the BILSTEIN OEs (using the stock springs), or Koni FSD. Not interested in the additional expense or discomfort of coilovers. Want to maintain or improve on OEM ride quality.

The shields are the plates which have speed and RPMs inscribed in them. He had a company make custom replacements. The difference is obvious in his pictures if you read what he posted.

I'm in the same boat. Thinking of BMW's performance suspension for an upgrade.

And I'm in the same boat with you 2 lol, found my front struts are leaking so thinking Bilstein B12 or BMW PS. Not a fan of the Dinan or Koni FSD from what I've been reading

I thought about the BMW PS, but $1500 vs $820 for the B12 kit. Also sure Bilstein offers lifetime warranty vs BMWs 4yr (if it's installed by the dealership, which charges double of what a speed shop would).

Edit: I don't think there is a loss of quality between either kit or any risk going to the B12. Bilstein and Eibach are as established as BMW is when it comes to suspension parts. Price difference is also significant. I'll probably go the B12 route after I get new rotors and pads.

Actually about that $1500 PS price...I got the dealer to lower the price to $965 for me. I was at the dealer and asked about the PS tech. specs like spring rates etc. (will hear back soon) and I think I tricked them, the guy did a google search b/c I wasnt sure if the PS came with new bump stops, anyways found this link:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...n/33500444832/
And then w/o really even asking he comes back and says we can give it to you for 965 since ECS sells it for cheaper But then charge 1500 for install

Just saying if anyone wants the PS, seems like the dealers would work on the price with ya

Yeah, the install murders you. If you're really on the edge, get the BMW PS and have a reputable shop install it. I figured you'd have to get it directly from BMW to even get the warranty, which I guess would be the big plus of it. Thanks for the link by the way, now I'm even considering it.

Get MHD. It's not even a question at this point. Cobb killed all N54 development.

Oh. The kit you linked has no springs. Might want to be careful since the big draw of the BMW PS is that it includes the yellow BMW springs.

Aren't the "OTS" MHD tunes developed by Wedge/BQ as well?

Yeah, you can buy wedgeperformance maps that are built into the app ($50 for stage1 and $50 for stage2). You also have the option to flash custom maps.
