ok my mouth is still sore. I had implants put into my jaw yesterday. And with my jewish luck instead of one implant in that space he put 2 implants in because of the shape of the bone (bone graft he did last year). My freakin luck.

Forget the ice, it will do nothing at this point....please take some form of anti-inflamatory based upon the dosage listed on the bottle....consistently for several days...when I have had "tendonitis" the doc usualy perscribes 500mg pills of what is commonly known as Aleve. I think I had to take them twice a day, I can't remember. Buy some Aleve, take it per the bottles instructions, every day for the next several days and try to keep the knee stable...no twisting....bending ...etc.



If that doesn't work we will have to go to plan "B"

If you don't see any relief on 3-4 days...taking the meds as listed and resting it as your friend said....then you need to see a doc. I'd also wrap it in an ace bandage for added support...it will take away any unecessary movement.

I had a root canal done 3 years ago and the dentist i went to didnt do a good job. An absses build up on under my 2nd to last molar on the bottom part of my jaw. When the tooth was extracted the absses was removed. It still in a bag but really really big. it actually went under my last molar as well. And it eroded my jaw bone where that original tooth was. So he did a bone graft a year and half ago and once the graft hardened he put implants into it. So in another 5 months when the implants have been totally fused with my jaw i will get a tooth put on.
