When I come to a full stop, my RPM needle always dips down and pops back up. I have a feeling this is a more DCT related problem, anyone else experience this?

That's more than likely a small misfire. Check plugs first, then if you're still on stock Bosch coils, I highly recommend spending $200ish and upgrading to the M4 Delphi pencil coils, and if that doesn't solve it, you may have leaking injectors.

I just got new spark plugs and coils, not even 600 miles on them, and today while cruising on the freeway, I downshifted 3 times to let it rip and it started shuttering like crazy. I used the MHD flasher to pull codes (s/o to those guys ) and cylinder 3 was misfiring.

Im thinking injectors?

I also know for a fact i could use a walnut blasting, if anyone has gotten one of those done how much did it run them? $

$400-500, but you can try to negotiate it.

Those that have mhd how much of a pain is it to put back to stock, I'm still under warranty and have the jb4 so I just take the jb4 out which is easy and bring it to the dealer and I'm good...just wondering on the process for MHD

I never changed mine and got 44k on the clock...but I bought mine CPO with 22k miles so maybe the previous owner swapped it

Thanks, it's mark wu's 5d/4d on ebay. He only sells on ebay, I love his vinyl..I've tried a few too and this is the best IMO. 5x2' sheet I believe, just specify the 5d/4d or 5d/3d if that's what you want, but his 4d is awesome...put up next to my wing and it has great depth and shine/silver in it. Fast shipping too!

Probably injectors. Take the car to the dealership, they're under extended warranty from BMW.

Hey mbrs, haven't updated my car status since I first got it back last June.. I added some stuff to my whip...I would've lowered it already and added front lip, but I dont have enough clearance to get into my garage.

-Tinted front windshield
-jb4 g5
-ESR SR01 wheels
-Replaced rft w/ Michelin pss tires
-Coded by Alex @ Alpine
-Painted reflectors
-OEM Wind deflector

Uninstalled
Bms filters and cowl filters
Spark plus and coils
Dct shifter paddles

When I first got it....




To current setup....
