Hey! I know I am not from New York so probably shouldn't be messing in your thread but just wanted to shout out somewhere that I am having the best day I have had in a loooooooooooooooooooong time.
I work in an international engineering and metal industry company of more than 10.000 employees and I am a manager in a big IT project. About a year ago I got an idea that what if in the new global IT system we would actually go completely metric - change all our drawings and designs from imperial into metric (in the countries that still use imperial, like US and UK) and make it easier to actually truly become global and use the IT system globally. Absolutely no one believed in me when I said I will get it done. I didn't believe in it myself but I wasn't ready to give up because I knew I was right. And today, the management team of the corporation decided based on my proposal that we will in fact go metric. Milla, the 26-year-old girl looking like a teenager with the pink stripes in her hair, made this ooooooooold fashion metal industry company change their whole engineering policies and all that stuff, and actually go metric. I convinced the entire management team and they were confident enough to make this decision, which will require a lot of work from the entire company. Never believed I would see this day. Never been this proud of myself. Sorry about this, I think no one understands this and you don't care, just had to tell someone I think I will need to flee the country when people here learn about this decision. I will be one the most hated people in the company |

Omgz haii. I'm finally off the plane. It took about 12 hours to get home. Left my hotel at 10am and got home after 11pm. The aeroplane had a malfunctioning part that they had to swap out and test. Fn waste of my life. I've gotten 20 hours of sleep in like 7 days.

Now I have to cancel my REAL vaca that's supposed to be in july cause of the new job. my trip was awesome considering I only had my friends at night but I met a group of guys n girls at my hotel so they entertained me.
